Ruth Dreier was first introduced to the Pilates reformer 20 years ago when a friend recommended it to her for relieving the stresses she had from running long distance on a daily basis. Learning to use the Pilates Reformer changed her fitness level and her life dramatically! From that moment onward she made Pilates a daily practice and an ongoing interest. 15 years after her introduction to the reformer she utilized Pilates exercises to heal herself from a chronic pain condition she had developed in her shoulder. After experiencing how Pilates could induce miraculous relief from pain she decided to dedicate herself to studying Pilates more seriously and to making the life-change to become a Certified Pilates Instructor and share the practices with others.
She has studied at prominent schools such as The Polestar Pilates School Reformer Course and has completed her mat, reformer, ladder barrel, wunda chair, and trapeze table certifications with The Balanced Body Education programs. She has also studied with other well known teachers such as Patricia Martinez, Kate Weller and Darien Gold.
Her great love is to see people use the Pilates exercises to transform their health and experience their body on a new level of dynamic fitness.
